The optimal time to freeze your eggs can vary depending on your individual fertility and life circumstances. However, we typically recommend freezing your eggs before the age of 35. That’s because, while your fertility starts to gradually decline in your late 20s and early 30s, the drop is more significant after age 35. Freezing your eggs earlier gives you the best chance of having healthy, viable eggs for future use.

Your eggs can be stored for as long as you’d like, so there’s no expiration date. As long as your eggs are being stored with us, there will be an annual storage fee. We also offer long-term storage plans to help make it more manageable.

Egg freezing is generally very safe, but like any medical procedure, there are some potential side effects. Some women experience mild discomfort during the process, and the medications used can cause a rare condition called Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS). This is when your ovaries become enlarged and fluid accumulates in the abdomen. However, it’s usually mild. We’ll monitor you closely throughout the process to minimize any risks.
